Neon
The neon sign 'One night only' remains dark in the gallery and remains so during the duration of an exhibition, with the exception of one night. The work is programmed to go on randomly for exactly the duration of one night at the time of exhibition. A slogan used by promoters, to advertise an event, the fact that the sign is off begs the question that the event has long since past or has yet to come.
